Job description

  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with Elementary Education and ESL/Bilingual Endorsement
  • Experience working with Spanish/English bilingual elementary grade students preferred

  • This position will remain posted until the hiring process is complete; however, interviews may be conducted after March 3, 2026, so interested applicants should submit their materials ASAP to ensure consideration. ย 

Important Notes

  • This position is for the District's Dual Language Summer School Program, which will be located atย International Prep Academy.
  • This program runs Monday-Thursday from June 3, 2026ย - July 2, 2026.
  • Student contact hours will be from 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Staff will be expected to be on duty (and will be paid) from 7:45 a.m.-12:45 p.m.
  • There will also be an initial required training (paid) June 2, 2026 from 8:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m., with a 1 hour unpaid lunch.
  • This position will include 10 hours of curriculum planning before summer school begins, in addition to co-teaching, supporting intervention needs, and monitoring progress throughout summer school.
  • Teachers will be paid at the rate of $40.00/hour.
