About the role- This role is focused on creating a fun, safe, and energetic environment for young athletes to develop their basketball skills, teamwork, and confidence. Camp counselors will lead drills and activities, mentor campers, and help ensure every participant has a positive and rewarding camp experience.

Qualifications- Must be a current or incoming Bethel student
- Positive attitude and ability to motivate campers
- Team-oriented and dependable
- Previous coaching, playing, or camp experience preferred but not required
Work Environment:This role will take place in the RC Gym and/or the SRC. Moderate to high noise levels. Overnight camp staff will live in shared dorm housing.
Physical Demands:Ability to remain active throughout the day, including standing, walking, running, and demonstrating basketball drills
Ability to life and carry basketball equipment up to 30 pounds
Comfortable working indoors in summer weather conditions (no AC in the SRC)
Ability to supervise and engage with campers in a fast-paced environment
Expected Hours of Work:Work schedule is generally dependent upon your availability.

Grades 2-7 // June 8-11, 2026 // Day Camp Option 1 (AM/PM/Both sessions available)
Grades 2-7 // June 15-18, 2026 // Day Camp Option 2 (AM/PM/Both sessions available)
Grades 5-8 // June 29 - July 1, 2026 // Overnight Camp
Stipend based on hours worked. Some camps require overnight, early morning, and late evening hours.
