  • Utilize advanced trades mathematics along with precision measuring instruments, complicated drawings, specifications, charts, and tables for project execution.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical code specifications to determine layouts for industrial electrical equipment installations.
  • Conduct wiring and repairs for electrical systems based on detailed electrical drawings.
  • Test electrical and electronic components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance, ensuring functions meet safety criteria.
  • Maintain, repair, test and install AC & DC electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic/pneumatic control systems.
  • Install, maintain, and repair various industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related devices.

Qualifications/Requirements
  • Must have equivalent qualifications to completion of an accredited apprenticeship in a recognized trade, craft, or occupation; or possess an equivalent to one year of technical college education.
  • Associates degree (AAS) with over 2 years of experience in motor controls, circuit installations, and the ability to read and understand schematics, including knowledge of PLCs and digital drives for effective troubleshooting tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply critical thinking to diagnose and remedy electrical issues promptly.
  • Proficient understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to electrical work to ensure compliance and avert hazards.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration within a multidisciplinary team environment.
