Blue Rhino is seeking a Full-Time Sr Production Specialist to join our hardworking and safety-focused team. Our Sr Production Specialist plays a key role in our production process. They operate in a team-based environment to ensure quality, and safe and efficient, refilling, re-valving, requalifying, refurbishing, packaging, and storage of propane cylinders. Every cylinder is cleaned, leak-tested, inspected, and then delivered to tens of thousands of convenience stores nationwide.

Responsibilities
  • Operates Carousel Filling operation as well as manual filling and forklift filling as needed.
  • DOT training for 20-pound cylinder requirements - RIN certification.
  • Operates Evacuation system for removing liquid and vapor from cylinders so they may be re-valved and shot blasted.
  • Trained in cylinder valve replacement.
  • Performs cylinder refurb operations based on work station.
  • Follows OSHA standards and company safety rules and policies at all times.
  • Maintains supplies, equipment, and uniforms issued by the Company and ensures the workplace remains clean, neat, and organized at all times.
  • Performs assigned duties in all types of weather.
  • Communicates escalated issues with supervisor.
  • Maintains accurate time card and paperwork as required.
  • Checks for quality assurance.
  • Acts as forklift backup when needed.
  • Some positions may require the ability to lift 35 pounds repeatedly throughout the day and in all weather conditions
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and other safety, environmental, and governmental standards preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Possess integrity and a good work ethic.
  • Demonstrated ability to be punctual, dependable, and reliable.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
  • Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
