Job description

Schedule: 

  • Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3:00pm

Pay:

  • Starting: $23.50/hour
  • 3 months: $24/hour
  • 6 months: $25/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe work environment.
  • Learn and operate Smart Glass Equipment.
  • Operate inspection equipment.
  • Ensure timely execution of production orders.
  • Document activities as appropriate - i.e. logbook, inspection walk throughs, etc.
  • Handle glass as necessary for production.
  • Work in a cleanroom environment and handle materials as needed. This requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs on an occasional basis.
  • Assist in the daily cleaning of equipment and production areas.
  • Suggest equipment modifications to increase machine efficiency and improve quality.
  • Drive a forklift or other mobile equipment and support the receiving area as needed.
  • Record production data and report any deviations or issues.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement activities.
  • Conduct visual and functional inspections to ensure product quality.
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure plant goals are met.
  • Additional Projects as needed by Leadership.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English. Written and Verbally.
  • Experience in electronics, glass, or precision manufacturing.
  • Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
  • Demonstrate ability to utilize computer software's and equipment interfaces.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills with the ability to draft reports.
  • Ability to fill out technical documentation and draft technical reports
  • Ability to learn operating practices for new smart glass equipment.
  • Ability to understand and apply the use of measuring instruments.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office.
  • Commitment to safety and an orderly and safe workplace.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, including all levels of coworkers and vendors.
  • Ability to exercise good judgement in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the CLiC team, Cardinal, and other company relationships.
  • Maintain professional appearance and conduct, exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot minor problems.
