Job description

Description

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our delivery team as a hands-on technical leader with a strong product mindset and a direct line to our clients. In this role, you will own meaningful parts of what we build, design and ship production-grade software across the stack, and use modern AI tooling to accelerate delivery without cutting corners. Operating as a senior contributor, you will thrive in an environment that values technical ownership, clear client communication, and a strategic approach to engineering that focuses on solving real business problems rather than just closing tickets.

Responsibilities

You’ll work closely with US-based clients and delivery managers to translate business requirements into robust technical plans, ensuring high-quality execution and end-to-end feature ownership.

Development, Maintenance & Operations
  • Design, build, and ship production software across the full stack, owning features from inception to deployment.
  • Use AI coding assistants, automated testing, and modern tooling as a core part of your daily workflow to raise development speed and code quality.
  • Support incident response and root-cause analysis for the systems you own, implementing long-term solutions to prevent recurrence.
Project Lifecycle, Delivery & Client Communication
  • Work directly with US-based clients on live calls, translating their business needs into technical plans, managing expectations, and communicating progress and trade-offs clearly.
  • Partner with delivery managers on scoping, estimation, sprint planning, and risk-flagging, carrying delivery-management responsibility for your workstreams.
  • Bring a product mindset to the development lifecycle: question requirements constructively, propose better solutions, and prioritize features that drive actual value for the client and end users.
Leadership, Mentorship & Best Practices
  • Conduct in-depth code reviews and provide technical guidance to the team, serving as the go-to resource to unblock complex challenges and hit deadlines.
  • Champion engineering best practices, helping to adopt and apply the guidelines and standards set by the Director of Engineering across all projects.
  • Mentor and coach mid-level engineers, actively contributing to ongoing training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing to elevate the team's capabilities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ Years of Experience: A proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production systems in professional software engineering environments.
  • Full-Stack & Stack Fundamentals: Solid fundamentals across at least one major stack (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar), including hands-on experience with APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
  • AI-Driven Development: Strong working knowledge and daily use of AI-enabled engineering tools (prompting, code review, automation, and guardrails) to streamline workflows and eliminate repetitive work.
  • Client-Facing Fluency: Native or fully fluent English with exceptional communication skills, comfortable acting as the primary technical voice in front of US-based clients.
  • Delivery Mechanics: Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and delivery management practices such as sprint planning, estimation, and keeping commitments visible.
You'd be a poor fit if:
  • You view yourself strictly as a "ticket taker" and prefer executing requirements exactly as written without questioning the business context or product impact.
  • You are uncomfortable speaking directly with clients, managing expectations, or handling the delivery-management aspects of your workstream.
  • You resist adopting AI coding assistants or automation scripting, preferring to absorb repetitive development and testing tasks manually.
  • You prefer working in isolation rather than mentoring mid-level peers, conducting thorough code reviews, and collaborating to unblock the team.
What you’ll love about us
  • A dynamic environment where you have a direct impact on product direction and client success.
  • A forward-thinking engineering culture that embraces modern AI tools to maximize efficiency and eliminate friction.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, technical leadership, and direct mentorship within a highly collaborative global team.
