Description
Position Summary
Perform massage and body treatments requested by each and every Spa Guest. This position requires consistent adherence to policies and procedures of the department as outlined in the Biltmore Standard Operating Procedures (BSOP'S).
Responsibilities
  • Provide Spa services to guests in a timely, courteous and efficient manner and in accordance with Biltmore Standards and Protocols as well as Leading Hotel Standards.
  • Escort clients to and from treatment rooms, attending to any immediate needs throughout Spa visit.
  • Maintain/Respect treatment rooms, equipment, products.
  • Assist in providing information to any inquiries and help to coordinate all guest requests for services.
  • Promote and sell Spa retail products.
  • Must attend all quarterly staff meetings.
  • Must commit to a six month set schedule as discussed with manager upon hiring.
  • Support other spa departments to assure guest satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Experience and Education Required
  • Education

High School Diploma required
  • Experience

Minimum two years' experience in similar position in Spa industry
Must have knowledge of general modalities and Spa products.

  • Must be able to:
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Use, carry, and operate all necessary office equipment using finger dexterity.
  • Communicate with employees, managers, subordinates and guests through verbal communication, hearing ability, and visual acuity.
  • Visually look at a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Adapt to moderate temperatures in the hotel as thermostat is controlled by hotel environmental systems. Most work tasks are performed indoors.
