Soothing Sanctuary Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our esteemed outpatient practice, operating remotely from Tampa, Florida. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for skilled therapists who are passionate about making a significant difference in the lives of individuals grappling with mood disorders.

About the Organization

At Soothing Sanctuary Health & Rehabilitation Center, we pride ourselves on delivering comprehensive mental health services. Our center is renowned for its thoughtful and compassionate approach to mental health care, serving a diverse clientele who require support during challenging times. We provide a warm, healing environment, with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our patients through evidence-based practices and holistic care.

Work Environment

This role supports a dynamic telehealth model that combines flexibility with high-quality therapeutic engagement. As a remote team member, you will benefit from the ability to maintain a healthy work-life balance while collaborating with a supportive team of mental health professionals. You will work standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for predictable scheduling and personal time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to gauge the severity, duration, and fluctuation of mood disorder symptoms in clients.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans through collaboration with clients, centered on their unique challenges and therapeutic goals.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate meaningful client progress.
  • Educate both clients and their families regarding mood disorders, exploring coping strategies, treatment options, and promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Monitor client progress in a systematic manner, adjusting treatment strategies based on efficacy and emerging needs.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive integrated, well-coordinated care.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders, applying new knowledge to inform clinical practices.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal standards, ensuring accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and sessions.
  • Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional workshops to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices in mental health.
  • Champion the voices of clients, fostering efforts to de-stigmatize mental health issues and advocating for their rights and needs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role is primarily on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Our patients often come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, requiring a nuanced and empathetic approach to therapy. As a therapist, you will help empower them to regain control over their mental health and improve their quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A valid license (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) to practice in the state of Florida, endorsed by the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Proficient in evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
  • Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the collaboration process within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • A proven history of effective intervention outcomes with mood disorder clients.
  • Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with clients from varied socio-economic and cultural backgrounds.
Preferred Experience
  • Candidates with prior experience in a telehealth environment will be prioritized.
  • Experience managing a caseload of mood disorder clients with demonstrated therapeutic efficacy is highly regarded.
  • Prior involvement in case management and advocacy is a plus, exhibiting a strong commitment to client support.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include:

  • A comprehensive healthcare benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and eligible dependents.
  • Employer-matched retirement savings plan, enhancing your long-term financial stability.
  • Generous PTO and holiday pay to support your well-being and rejuvenation.
  • Sign-on bonus available to new team members.
