Job description

Start your journey with Blue Compass RV as we are looking a Title Clerk to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for handling information regarding motor vehicle registration and process legal documents and other state-required documents. Title clerks must be organized and detail oriented in handling files and maintaining documents.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Ensures accurate and timely titling/registrations of customer vehicles purchases.
  • Process the acquisition of Trade titles from original owners.
  • Submit and verify completed lien payoffs.
  • Handle Title transfers to our sister dealerships.
  • Record and maintain new and used inventory in DMS Accounting System.
  • Review/process deal file, check for accuracy, and submit to Corporate Accounting.
  • Reconcile and process daily bank deposits for dealership.
  • Handle Accounts Payable Expense coding and submission for payment.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable payments for accurate application.
  • Assist with Inventory receiving and audits.
  • Ability to maintain excellent relations between customers and store personnel.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and respond in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Management of general office tasks such as incoming mail organization, filing, ordering supplies, and scheduling/assisting with events.

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Must have      
  • Knowledge of Verifi, DealerTrack, CVR, and/or State DMV Partnering online system is preferred.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in high volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong Problem Solving skills.
  • Office/Clerical experience.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are a MUST.
  • Use of and proficiency in Outlook and all Microsoft programs will be required.
  • Ability to accept additional tasks, duties and/or direction from management.
