ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a physically capable, safety-focused Hi-Rise Window Cleaning & Power Washing Technician to join the Clearview team. This is a hands-on role for someone who works confidently at heights, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is ready for steady, long-term opportunities with a company that values its people.

You will perform professional window cleaning and power washing at commercial properties, working at heights up to 500 feet using rope access, rapid rope, aerial lifts, and water-fed extension poles. No two days are exactly the same, but every day requires focus, safety, and a commitment to leaving every building better than you found it.

This is a physically demanding role. Technicians are required to manage rope systems and equipment weighing 75100 lbs., work at significant heights in outdoor Florida conditions, and maintain stamina and focus throughout the full workday. SCOPE OF WORK


  • Hi-rise window cleaning using rope access, rapid rope, and aerial lift systems up to 500 feet

  • Ground-level and mid-rise window cleaning using water-fed extension poles (up to 60 feet)

  • Exterior power washing of commercial building facades and surfaces

  • Rope Descent System (RDS) and scaffolding setup and operation

  • Equipment loading, unloading, transport, and daily maintenance

  • OSHA-compliant safety protocols on every project, every day

  • Jobsite photography and work order documentation

  • High-pressure cleaning equipment operation


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Perform high-rise window cleaning and power washing at commercial job sites safely and to a professional standard

  • Operate rope access, rapid rope, and aerial lift equipment, including boom lifts, swing stages, and powered platforms safely and correctly

  • Use a Rope Descent System or scaffolding to access exterior windows up to 500 feet

  • Operate water-fed extension poles (up to 60 feet / ~25 lbs.) for third and fourth floor windows from the ground

  • Set up and climb ladders to access second and third story windows

  • Load and unload equipment independently (under 25 lbs.) and with assistance (over 25 lbs.)

  • Handle rope systems and equipment with loads of 75 to 100 lbs. physical strength and stamina required

  • Work with and transport mildly abrasive chemical-based cleaning solutions such as chlorine and ammonia following all safety protocols

  • Dry wet glass with cloths or squeegees to a professional, streak-free standard

  • Independently operate high-pressure cleaning equipment

  • Photograph jobsites before, during, and upon completion of work

  • Follow all work orders and verbal instructions from management accurately

  • Report any safety concerns, equipment damage, or vehicle issues immediately

  • Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicles clean and in good working conditions

  • Communicate professionally with staff, management, and clients at all times

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience & Certifications


  • Experience operating aerial lift equipment, boom lifts, swing stages, powered platforms required; minimum 2 months hands-on experience

  • Rope access or rapid rope experience strongly preferred; SPRAT or IRATA certification is a plus but not required

  • Candidates without direct rope or aerial lift experience who have a verifiable background working at heights and a strong commitment to safety are encouraged to apply, we invest in the right people

  • Completed or willing to complete hi-risk work training prior to or upon hire we provide it through the University of Clearview


Requirements


  • Valid Florida driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving history in the state

  • Physically fit and able to manage rope systems and equipment weighing 75100 lbs.

  • Comfortable working at significant heights up to 500 feet and in varying outdoor Florida weather conditions

  • Able to lift and carry approximately 50 lbs. regularly throughout the workday, including up flights of stairs and fixed ladders

  • Ability to stand or walk for up to two hours at a time; repetitively stoop, kneel, climb, and reach

  • Willing to work outside in all seasons and available for overtime and occasional weekends as needed

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
