Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN). The RN promotes, restores, and maintains residentโ€™s health and wellbeing by collaborating with providers, the interdisciplinary team, and care associates. The RNโ€™s primary role is to provide physical and psych-social support to residents and families.ย 

We are seeking an experienced RN to support our Assisted Living /Skilled Nursing settings to fill a part-time day shift opening

How you will make an impact:

  • Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting the residentโ€™s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs, and focusing on placing the resident first.

  • Performing all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice

  • Promoting residentโ€™s independence by establishing resident care goals, teaching resident/family members to understand a residentโ€™s condition, medication, and self-care skills

  • Monitoring a resident clinical and care conditions to identify any changes in status and acting on those changes to ensure patient comfort and safety

  • Working alongside the care associates to perform routine nursing care to assigned residents as needed

  • Maintaining infection prevention practices, administering medications, and performing treatments per orders.

  • Developing and coordinating a comprehensive Holistic plan of care to meet the residentโ€™s clinical and care needs in collaboration with the interdisciplinary and neighborhood team

  • Supporting residentโ€™s preferences, routines, and choices in residentโ€™s electronic medical record

  • Ensuring that documentation is current, accurate, and timely.

  • Participating in care conferences for designated residents as requested by Clinical Manager

What you will needย :

  • Must have an active RN license in the State of Maryland

  • Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN

  • Experience in caring for seniors or senior with cognitive impairment preferred

  • Basic computer skills required including experience with Microsoft Office, internet and web applications

  • Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred

  • CPR certification required.
