Job description

FlexStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a floater between assisted living facilities (ACF) throughout the New York metropolitan area. This role will provide nursing support across multiple ACF locations, ensuring high-quality resident care and continuity of services.

The position is a full-time permanent role.

Schedule Details

  • Monday through Friday
  • 38.75 hours per week
  • Floating between ACF locations
  • Shifts vary by facility and may fall between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM
  • Common shift examples - please be advised that shifts are being assigned depending on the facility needs and are not flexible
    • 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
    • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
    • 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
    • 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Compensation

  • Annual Salary: $138,000
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000, paid after 15 months of permanent employment

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care and support across multiple assisted living facilities

  • Collaborate with facility teams to ensure resident needs are met

  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable care standards

  • Adapt to different facility environments and patient populations

  • Support continuity of care and clinical operations as assigned

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York

  • Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting preferred

  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to travel between facility locations as needed

  • Flexible and adaptable to varying schedules and shift requirements
