Residential Counselor/Direct Care Support Professional (JH)
Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.75 per hour
Lancaster, MA
RFK Community Alliance has an exciting opportunity for a full-time position to join our residential (JH) team in Lancaster.
DSPs are the heart of the work we do at RFK Community Alliance.
You will work directly with adolescents facing mental health challenges in a group home setting to support their daily needs, foster independence, and empower them to live their best lives. This role is incredibly rewarding, offering the chance to make a direct impact on someone's life every single day. Whether it's assisting with daily activities, providing emotional support, or helping them achieve their personal goals, as a DSP, YOU will be an essential part of the support we provide. We believe that the desire to help and support others is the most crucial qualification for this role. That's why we provide full training for all new DSPs, ensuring you have all the tools, knowledge, and confidence needed to excel in this position. Whether you have a background in human services or are looking to step into this field for the first time, if you have a passion for helping people, we want to hear from you!
Who We Seek
Caring and compassionate professionals provide support to our children and adolescents with mental health challenges. We need you to play a vital role in providing daily therapeutic support and guidance for children and adolescents so they can achieve the highest level of independence. Every day, you will have the opportunity to see the positive results of the work you do. In addition, you will have the opportunity to gain solid human services skills as well as access to a career path that could lead to supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
Must have a High School Diploma, be at least 21 years old. Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Shifts:
  • 32 or 40 hours: Sun, 8 am-10 pm & Mon-Wed, 2; 00 pm-10:00 pm
  • 32 or 40 hours: Wed-Fri, 2:00 pm-10:00 pm & Sat, 8:00 am-10:00 pm
  • 30 or 40 hours: Sun-Wed, 10:00 pm-8:00 am
  • 30 or 40 hours: Wed-Sat, 10:00 pm-8:00 am
  • 40 hours: Tuesday-Friday-3-11 (Wed/ Thurs- off)
