Residential Supervisor
Pay Range: $24.25–$25.50 per hour

RFK Community Alliance is seeking an experienced, compassionate Residential Supervisor to join our team in Middleton, MA. This full-time leadership position offers the opportunity to guide and support both youth and staff while helping create a safe, structured, and therapeutic residential environment.

About the Role
As a Residential Supervisor, you will provide leadership and oversight during your assigned shift, ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of both youth and staff. Serving as the on-site administrative leader, you will supervise residential staff, provide coaching and mentorship, and help maintain a positive, trauma-informed environment that promotes accountability, growth, and success.
This role is ideal for someone who is confident leading a team, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to supporting youth through positive role modeling and therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing leadership and oversight of residential operations during assigned shifts.
- Ensuring the safety and security of youth, staff, and the residential program.
- Supervising, mentoring, and providing regular coaching to Residential Counselors and Assistant Supervisors.
- Delivering on-the-floor training and supporting staff development through ongoing guidance and feedback.
- Modeling trauma-informed care and effective behavior management strategies.
- Using de-escalation techniques and crisis intervention skills to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Collaborating with clinical and program staff to support individualized treatment plans and positive outcomes for youth.
- Responding to emergency situations, including the use of approved physical restraint techniques when necessary and in accordance with RFK Community Alliance policies and procedures.

- Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Builds positive relationships with youth and staff through consistency, empathy, and professionalism.
- Is comfortable working in a secure residential treatment setting.
- Has experience supervising or mentoring staff in a human services environment.
- Is committed to trauma-informed care and helping youth achieve lasting positive change.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license required.
- Residential treatment experience strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field strongly preferred.
Available Shifts:
- 2nd 3pm-11pm Sun-Thurs (Friday, Sat off)
- Tues-Sat 10 am -6 pm (Sun, Mon off)
