Job description

The Renaissance, an Eliza Jennings Community in Olmsted Township, and a nationally recognized leader in person-centered care, is seeking PRN Resident Assistants at its Assisted Living! The Renaissance is located 3 miles south of Great Northern Mall/480.

Hours:
6:00p.m.-6:00a.m.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist residents in activities of daily living, including but not limited to rising, showering, dressing, oral care, peri care, ambulating and going to meals; make general observations; report atypical behavior to Charge Nurse.
  • Maintain cleanliness of apartments in between scheduled housekeeping. Make residents’ beds daily.
  • Wash residents’ personal laundry and linens. Store clean laundry neatly. Label when needed.
  • Complete daily care sheets regarding active daily living behavior.
  • Regularly visit with residents, providing companionship, interaction and emotional support.
  • Serve residents Lunch and Dinner from Assisted Living Pantry. Clear dirty dishes from dining room tables and stack in AL pantry. Re-set tables for next meal.
  • Restock apartments with clean linen; empty trash and make sure apartments are clean and tidy.
