As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Establishing a positive, trusting rapport with clients through initial assessments and ongoing therapeutic relationships.
• Diagnosing mental health disorders and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs and circumstances of each patient.
• Conducting both individual and couples therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to guide therapeutic interventions.
• Monitoring patient progress through regular follow-ups and adjusting treatment plans based on evolving client needs and feedback.
• Providing psychoeducation and resources to clients and their families to foster understanding and coping strategies.
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care, including making appropriate referrals to specialists when necessary.
• Documenting patient sessions in accordance with organizational and legal standards, maintaining confidentiality and compliance.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.

• Proficiency in evidence-based practices for treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively engage with clients and team members.
• Strong therapeutic skills and the motivation to empower clients towards recovery and improved mental health.

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your candidacy:

• Specialized training or certifications in addiction counseling or family therapy.
• Previous experience providing therapy in remote settings.
