This position allows for a flexible work setting, as it is remote, enabling counselors to deliver services from the comfort of their homes while maintaining efficiency and productivity. The workdays are generally structured from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, although occasional evening or weekend hours might be necessary to accommodate client needs.

• Manage a designated caseload of clients, ensuring the establishment of strong therapeutic relationships built on respect, trust, and professionalism.
• Conduct regular follow-up sessions to monitor client progress, stability, and future objectives, including planning for discharge when appropriate.
• Create, implement, and periodically review individualized treatment plans that center around the unique needs and goals of each client.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions and progress notes, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and organizational protocols.
• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate new clients and identify their specific treatment needs.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, adapting approaches to meet the diverse needs of clients from various backgrounds.
• Engage in ongoing supervision for personal and professional development, contributing to a culture of shared learning and growth.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care, fostering better outcomes.

The clients at Psych Help encompass a broad spectrum—adults, children, and families, each with unique backgrounds and mental health challenges. The ability to deliver tailored interventions that respect each individual's story is crucial in this role.

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification.
• A minimum of two years of post-graduate clinical experience in an outpatient setting is required.
• Proficiency in utilizing various software and systems, including Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY.
• Demonstrated ability to provide effective psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
• Comfort and experience in conducting intake assessments.

Prior experience working with diverse populations, particularly those facing complex emotional or psychological challenges, is highly beneficial. Familiarity with Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs) and a passion for continuous professional development will aid in your success in this role.
