The detox center environment accommodates a diverse patient population, requiring a nuanced understanding of various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand the unique needs of each client and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific challenges and goals.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, families, and groups, adapting techniques to meet the needs of diverse populations.
• Facilitate coordination with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including doctors, nurses, and mental health specialists—to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Deliver crisis intervention when needed, offering immediate emotional support to clients in distress and collaborating with emergency services as necessary.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

The primary focus of this role is on individuals in detoxification and early recovery stages. You will engage with clients who are often navigating complex emotional and psychological challenges while detoxing from substances. Your empathetic approach and professional skills will be essential in building a therapeutic alliance and fostering resilience.

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid LCSW license in California.
• Demonstrated ability to work with individuals facing mental health and substance use disorders.
• Strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic modalities and interventions.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within addiction or mental health services.
• Experience in remote therapy or telehealth settings is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient care and track treatment outcomes.
