Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patientsโ€™ mental health needs through telehealth technologies and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual cases.
  • Provide immediate support through short-term individual counseling and crisis intervention services for patients dealing with acute mental health challenges.
  • Organize and facilitate therapeutic group sessions and workshops addressing various mental health topics, fostering community and support among participants.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across hospital departments to ensure coordinated and holistic care for each patient.
  • Implement outreach programs aimed at promoting mental health awareness within the community, including virtual events and educational webinars.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The diverse clientele you will work with includes patients facing a variety of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to more complex psychological conditions. Qualifications
  • Possession of an active and unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
  • A Masterโ€™s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Strong familiarity with the mental health challenges specifically encountered by hospital patients.

  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and interventions suitable for a remote counseling context.
