Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team at Stay on 30a - Vacations & Concierge in Panama City Beach, FL. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for keeping our vacation rental properties in top condition through proactive maintenance, efficient repairs, and quality craftsmanship. You'll work independently to troubleshoot issues, complete repairs across multiple systems, and respond to both routine and emergency maintenance needs. This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys variety in their day-to-day tasks, and thrives on solving practical problems with creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repair tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall repair, and general carpentry.

  • Troubleshoot and repair home systems.

  • Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address maintenance issues before they become larger problems.

  • Ensure that work orders are completed in a timely and efficient manner, and provide updates on progress to the Property Management team.

  • Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs and oversee their work to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Maintain records of work performed, including parts used and issues identified, using Breezeway and other company tools.

  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests to ensure guest comfort and safety.

  • Collaborate with other team members, including inspectors, property managers, and other technicians, to ensure properties are well-maintained and ready for guest arrivals.

  • Install fixtures, appliances, and other property components as needed.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years experience in property maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or a related field mandatory

  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a wide range of home systems.

  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.

  • Knowledge of safety standards and procedures, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

  • Experience with tools and technology.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as required.

  • Flexibility to work weekends or respond to emergencies outside of regular hours when needed.
