Description
Looking for a hands on property manager to oversee all operational aspects of a 35 unit affordable housing community located in the Bangor area. This is a part time 28 hour per week position (Four 7 hour shifts).
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain optimum level of occupancy through wait list management and proactive marketing
  • Process timely and accurate move-ins, move-outs, and recertifications
  • Supervise onsite maintenance staff.
  • Approve rental applications
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal program regulations
  • Prepare or oversee preparation for audits and inspections
  • Review monthly and quarterly reports and address discrepancies
  • Manage marketing according to the Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plan and update as necessary
  • Ensure the property and grounds are well maintained
  • Complete annual or periodic unit inspections and monthly building inspections
  • Resolve resident issues and conflicts in a timely manner and in accordance with site guidelines
  • Connects residents to services that are available in the general community and oversees programming at the site.
  • Establish relationships with local organizations, charities, agencies and service providers who can provide direct services to residents. Outside services might include home health aides, financial assistance, counseling (mental health and substance abuse), job search/training, general education and food assistance.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 - 3 years of property management experience
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant supervisory experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience with HUD Section 8 and LIHTC.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with property management software (OneSite) (Yardi)
  • Experience with families, senior citizens and working with a diverse population.
  • Professional in behavior and appearance.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing team player.
  • Must be computer literate and be able to produce clearly written files, reports, emails and newsletters.

Salary Description
$25 per hour
