Who we are:

In the heart of southern Genesee County is a fabulous small practice that has been voted the "Best of the Best" Veterinary Hospital for the last two years.

Briarwood Veterinary Hospital is searching for just the right veterinarian to join our team. The job of Associate at Briarwood is challenging but not exhausting. We are a general practice with a great, loyal and compliant clientele. Briarwood has been a part of the City of Grand Blanc for 33 years and has over that time developed a wonderful relationship with our community. Grand Blanc, City and Township are great places to live and work. High on the list of advantages are a great school system, wonderful parks and recreation opportunities, and a world class hospital right in the heart of town. 

Our staff at Briarwood is unsurpassed. Skilled and supportive, they are 100% dedicated to care and healing of our communities' pets. A doctor at Briarwood h as a licensed technician and a fully trained technician assistant assigned to them at each shift, be it outpatient or surgery. Our usual schedule involves a rotation of 3.5 days one week, and then 4.5 days the next week. Our days are 9.5-10 hours per day, with a 1.5 hour lunch, and a 4 hour shift on Saturday. No emergency work is required. 

Our doctors have a 5:2 vet to staff ratio and there is an amazing synergy and low turnover which leads to a winning work environment. 

Our hospital is fully equipped, and we are open to any additions a new doctor would like to add. We also have started to do wildlife work with Short's Fawn Rescue and care for the local Police dogs (Grand Blanc City and Genesee County Sheriff).
