Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI is seeking a CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE to join our ILLINOIS AVE CLINICS team!
The ideal candidate for this role will have had experience in an optical/Ophthalmology setting. With experience assisting patients in choosing eyewear, determining lens measurements, adjusting eyewear, as well as knowledge and experience repairing broken eyewear. Additionally, experience in working collaboratively with vendors, ordering supplies, and collecting payments is recommended. We are in search of applicants who have a desire to leverage prior optical knowledge/experience (as noted prior) and expand upon their existing knowledge, with a desire to become a Certified Optician.
The Customer Service Representative uses superior customer service skills to respond to call inquiries, promote organization's products and services, and make outbound calls. Uses professional and independent judgment based on established protocols and program and service scripts. Maintains proficiency in phone systems, software applications, programs and events, promotions, and physician and service referrals provided by the call center.
HOURS: Full-Time or 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per pay period, day only
Experience/Qualifications
  • Knowledge of organization policies and procedures, human resources management practices, and computer systems and applications normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Secondary education in health related field desired.
  • Five years' experience in customer service, administrative, sales or communication related field in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Clinical environment experience desired.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills required.
  • Demonstrates good listening skills.
  • Service representatives must maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
