What are some unique challenges of working as a live in personal trainer compared to a traditional gym-based trainer role?

As a Live In Personal Trainer, you'll need to balance professional responsibilities with maintaining respectful boundaries in the client’s home. Building trust and clear communication is essential for both effective training and a positive living arrangement.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a live in personal trainer, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Live In Personal Trainer, you need expertise in exercise science, nutrition, and program design, typically supported by a personal training certification (such as ACE, NASM, or ISSA). Familiarity with fitness assessment tools, wearable technology, and client management software is often required. Outstanding interpersonal skills, motivation, and adaptability help trainers build trust and maintain client engagement in a close living environment. These skills and qualifications are crucial for delivering safe, effective, and personalized fitness support while fostering a positive client relationship.

How much does a live-in personal trainer make?

A live-in personal trainer's earnings vary based on experience, location, and client base, but they typically earn between $30,000 and $80,000 annually. Prepare simple, nutritious meals with attention to dietary needs
Monitor general well-being and communicate effectively with family as needed
Maintain discretion, professionalism, and a peaceful household atmosphere

Private, well-appointed on-site living accommodations

Pay time off
Travel Reimbursement for work-related outings

Stable, long-term placement in a respectful, low-turnover environment

Optional Estate Role for Accompanying Partner:
We welcome candidates who may have a spouse or partner interested in serving as a Groundskeeper / Estate Assistant.
Responsibilities include:
Maintenance of a 5-acre manicured property (lawn care, landscaping, seasonal upkeep)
Light repairs and general estate oversight
Ensuring exterior presentation reflects a high standard of care
Compensation for this role will be discussed based on experience and scope.

Caregiver’s Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in private-duty caregiving, CNA, home health, or similar roles
Demonstrated ability to care for non-ambulatory clients
Physically capable of assisting with transfers and mobility support
Highly dependable, detail-oriented, and self-directed
Strong sense of discretion, professionalism, and emotional intelligence

Living Environment:
Quiet, secure, and well-maintained private estate
Respectful and supportive household dynamic
Designed for long-term stability and consistency

To Apply:
Please submit a brief introduction outlining your experience, references, and whether applying individually or as part of a couple.
