These jobs are common in caregiving, nannying, or housekeeping roles, where the worker may be present for security or availability but is only required to actively work for a set number of hours each day or week. Additionally, adapting to a household's unique routines and preferences can be challenging at first, but being flexible and proactive in understanding the household's needs can help you integrate smoothly. Regular check-ins and setting clear agreements regarding time off and duties are also key to a successful experience in this role.
