Seniornest Homecare is seeking compassionate, reliable caregivers - Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) - for live-in and hourly cases in Paterson, NJ and throughout Bergen and Passaic Counties. We are a nurse-owned agency, and you will be supported by a Registered Nurse with over 35 years of hands-on patient care experience.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and ambulation according to the care plan.
  • Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support to clients in their homes.
  • Assist with light housekeeping related to client care (tidying, laundry, meal assistance) as directed by the care plan.
  • Follow the client's individualized care plan and communicate changes in condition to the office or supervising nurse.
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment and use appropriate infection control and PPE procedures.

Requirements
  • Current New Jersey CHHA or CNA license in good standing.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • At least 6 months of caregiving experience (facility or home care).
  • Current PPD test (within the last 12 months) and MMR vaccination record.
  • Ability to read and follow a care plan and complete ADLs safely and professionally.
