  • At least 3 years of ICU and/or PACU experience required
Responsibilities & Requirements

The employee functions as a liaison, resource expert, and consultant to Nursing Service personnel during and throughout an assigned shift. The Team Leader serves as an on-site administrator and facilitates communication between and among patient care providers, physicians, and support service associates. The Team Leader serves as a customer relation representative for patients, families, and visitors. Acts as a liaison to the Leadership Team regarding issues related to nursing personnel safety and public relations.

Team Leader reports to Clinical Nurse Manager

Minimum Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; candidates considered if working toward completion ofdegree (must be completed within 5 years) If hired after June of 2010 at KMCS, all other KHNfacilities after Jan 2011. A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course Certified in specialty within six months
