Job description

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and implement modeling and simulation for base resiliency and wargaming.

  • Perform optimization and risk analysis for mission support initiatives.

  • Design and analyze performance metrics for enterprise planning.

  • Support wargame capstone events with modeling and simulation expertise.

  • Conduct decision analysis and advanced statistical analysis for AFIMSC projects.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate analytics into strategic planning.

  • Utilize government-managed data platforms for operations research.

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and visualizations for senior leadership.

  • Lead development of analytical frameworks for enterprise basing strategies.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in tool and process creation.


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance.

  • Master’s degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or related field.

  • EIGHT (8) or more years of experience in operations research and analytics.

  • Experience in simulation tools and optimization techniques.

  • Experience with tools such as Python, R, or SAS for modeling and analysis.

  • Experience with cloud-based data environments (e.g., Advana, VAULT, BLADE).


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Ph.D. in Operations Research or related discipline.

  • Familiarity with performance metric development and risk assessment.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to lead complex analytics projects independently.

  • Experience supporting DoD or Air Force analytics initiatives.

  • Knowledge of cloud integration and data lake migration.

  • Experience with Tableau and Power BI for visualization.

  • Understanding of AI/ML applications in operations research.

  • Familiarity with geospatial analytics and civil engineering data.

  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent).

  • Experience with robotic process automation tools.

  • Knowledge of wargaming methodologies and combat engineering.

  • Knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements.

  • Experience in agile methodologies for analytics delivery.
