Position Summary: The Line Cook prepares and cooks menu items efficiently and accurately, ensuring they meet quality standards. They also maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow food safety procedures.

  • Mindset: Balancing precision and detail with teamwork and communication in a fast-paced environment. Multitasking and prioritizing with composure under pressure.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and established standards. This may include tasks like washing, chopping, and seasoning ingredients, as well as operating various cooking equipment (grills, fryers, etc.).
  • Station Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation. This includes setting up the station, stocking it with necessary supplies, and ensuring proper storage of food items.
  • Food Safety: Adhere to all food handling and sanitation procedures, including proper storage and handling of ingredients, and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Timely Service: Prepare and cook food orders in a timely manner, ensuring efficient service and meeting customer expectations.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory: Assist with inventory management, ensuring adequate supplies are available.
