Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

\n

Provides diagnostic medical nuclear medicine services that are consistent with clinical education and training in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and professional standards.  Individuals will demonstrate clinical competencies to perform nuclear medicine procedures ranging in from infant to geriatric under the interpreting physicians supervision.

\n

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

\n

    \n
  • High School Diploma
  • \n

  • Graduate from an approved School of Radiologic Technology or Accredited School of Nuclear Medicine
  • \n

\n

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

\n

    \n
  • 1 year or more of clinical radiology experience, 
  • \n

\n

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS: 

\n

    \n
  • The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Certification in Nuclear Medicine (N) or Certification through Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • \n

  • Medical Radiologic Technology (MRT) License from the State of Texas
  • \n

  • Current, Valid Texas Driver’s License
  • \n

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Required within ninety (90) days of start date
  • \n

SCHEDULE:

\n

    \n
  • Monday-Friday, 0630-1530
  • \n

  • Rotating Weekly and Holiday Call
  • \n

  • Rotation through General Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine and Oncology PET/CT
  • \n
