Milk Processing / Production Operator

Toft Dairy | Sandusky, OH

Location: 3717 Venice Road, Sandusky, OH 44870
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday
Start Time: 1:00 AM to 2:00 AM
Typical Shift: 10-hour shifts ending around 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (hours may vary based on production needs)
Pay: Starts at $18 an hour

Toft Dairy is seeking a dependable Milk Processing / Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position plays an important role in producing and packaging high-quality dairy products while maintaining food safety, sanitation, and production standards.

What You'll Do
  • Operate and monitor milk processing and bottling equipment
  • Assist with daily production line setup, operation, and shutdown
  • Ensure products meet quality and food safety standards
  • Perform basic equipment adjustments and troubleshooting
  • Lift, stack, and move milk cases and production materials
  • Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized production area
  • Follow GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and company safety procedures
  • Support production schedules and daily output goals
  • Complete additional production-related tasks as assigned

QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or machine operation experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
Preferred
  • Dairy, food, or beverage manufacturing experience
  • Production line experience
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or food safety standards

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during a 10-hour shift
  • Frequent pushing, pulling, bending, reaching, and grasping
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated and manufacturing environment
