Job description

Job Summary


We are seeking professional and customer-focused Retail Cashiers to provide excellent guest service in a fast-paced retail environment at MetLife Stadium. This is an event-based opportunity ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with guests and working in a high-energy atmosphere during sporting events, concerts, and live entertainment.


As a Retail Cashier, you will be responsible for assisting customers with purchases, processing transactions accurately, maintaining organized merchandise areas, and delivering a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and thrives in a busy customer-facing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
  • Process cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions accurately using POS systems.
  • Assist customers with merchandise selection, pricing questions, and general inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail and checkout areas.
  • Restock merchandise, organize displays, and monitor inventory levels throughout events.
  • Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and visually appealing.
  • Handle customer concerns or escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of products, promotions, and stadium policies.
  • Assist with opening, closing, and end-of-shift procedures.
  • Follow all company cash handling, safety, and loss prevention procedures.
  • Support team members and assist in other retail areas as needed during peak times.


Qualifications

  • Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Basic math and cash handling skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and event-based schedules.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 30 lbs.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-energy environment.
