At Pediatric Health Choice, a proud member of the PHS family, we care for medically fragile children in a structured, nurturing environment known as a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center. As a Pediatric Medical Escort, you’ll play a vital role in our mission—ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of children during their transportation to and from our center.

  • Position: Pediatric Medical Escort (EMT, LPN, Paramedic, RT)
  • Location: Flowood, MA

  • Maintain a warm, reassuring presence for children throughout the ride.
  • Monitor and respond to emergency situations during transit, working alongside a licensed medical professional.
  • Complete accurate transportation documentation and follow detailed schedules.
  • Perform end-of-route vehicle checks to ensure all children and belongings are accounted for.
  • Communicate clearly with families and center staff to coordinate transport and share any updates.
  • Collaborate with the transport coordinator to address any delays or challenges during routes.

Qualifications:

  • Medical background preferred: EMT, Respiratory Therapist (RT), LPN, or Paramedic.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Chauffeur’s License or CDL (Required)
  • CPR certification
  • Experience in caring for children, particularly those with medical needs (preferred).
  • Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years preferred).

Why Choose Us?

  • Impactful Work: Every ride you give is one step closer to helping a child access the care they need.

  • Supportive Environment: Join a tight-knit team of caring professionals who support one another like family.

  • Flexibility: Enjoy consistent daytime hours and a schedule that fits your life.

  • Training Provided: We equip you with everything you need to feel confident and capable on the job.
