Ourlocation inCharlotte, NCcurrently has an opportunity for aPediatric Hospital Sales Specialist.This positionis responsible forthe promotion, management, and growth of Abbott Nutritional products inhospital settings.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and supporting territory sales goals in major hospital systems for Similac,Neosure, and Human Milk Fortifier HPCL.

  • Hospital negotiations and contracting, experience working with hospital supplychain.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies,protocolsandguidelinesas well as the ability to deliverthe informationin a selling environment.

  • New product launches.

  • An understanding of the hierarchy of hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies,Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries and Nursing units. The ability to work effectively with Dietitians,Physiciansand Nurses.

  • Effective administrative skills, organizing your time.

  • Budget management.

  • Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.

  • Desire to be self- motivated,seeking outsuccess at achieving bothshort and long termgoals.

  • Hosting evening educational opportunities for Healthcare Professionals (1-2 Nights per quarter).

  • Customer Base:NICU, Pharmacy,Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, Nursing units, Neonatologist, Dietitians, Nutrition, RN, & Supply Chain.

Territory

  • The ideal candidate will be based out ofCharlotte, NC

  • This territory includesthe greater Charlotte, NC

  • Amount of travelwith territory - Daily Travel

  • 5-10% overnight travel for Regional/National meetings and trainings

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor'sdegreerequired.

  • The ideal candidate will be a NICU Registered Dietitian/NICU Registered Nurse.

  • Candidates witha strongclinical/medical sales experience in a hospital setting, working with Supply Chain and Health Care Professionals.

  • Must be able tolift upto 15lbstoassistwith stocking and the movement of pediatric products.
