The Washington House Hotel is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to join our housekeeping and guest services team. Staff at The Washington House take pride in offering genuine hospitality and top notch cleanliness with careful attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and creating a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver breakfast orders to hotel guests.
  • Answer front desk phone for in-house guest request and incoming calls; take reservations.
  • Clean and sanitize hotel rooms after guest departure.
  • Provide daily housekeeping service to stay-over guests according to their requests.
  • Clean and sanitize common areas.
  • Remove dirty dishes, trash and soiled linens from rooms and linen closets.
  • Perform deep cleaning jobs as needed.

Requirements:
  • Comfortable lifting and carrying heavy linen bags, dishes and trash
  • Comfortable using stairs
  • Submit to a background check and drug test
  • Reliable transportation to & from work
  • Part-time: approximately 10-20 hours per week
  • Weekend availability may be required

Compensation: $15.00 per hour
