Position Summary
The Housekeeper will maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility and may also assist with any general facilities/maintenance responsibilities so we can provide all guests a positive experience.
This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00-$16.00
Benefits for Part-Time Roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching.
This position will remain open until July 17th, 2026.
About the Venue
University Club Alabama exists to support its members in living their best lives-on and off campus. Whether we're providing pregame dining for Crimson Tide fans, offering meeting space for a university department event, or hosting a milestone celebration for a member, our club is deeply integrated with the heartbeat of campus life and the Tuscaloosa community.
Responsibilities
  • Perform general cleaning duties, which may include the following: dusting, sweeping, and/or mopping floors; washing windows and window sills; scrubbing, stripping, and waxing floors as scheduled; sweeping exterior walkways.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms, including restroom fixtures, hardware, tile, mirrors, partitions, floors, etc. Replace restroom supplies as needed.
  • Report any damage or maintenance needs to the Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor.
  • Shows initiative in regard to job functions and accepts new responsibilities as needed.
  • Have a willingness to work with and help others.
  • Keep outside areas and entrances clean; pick up trash around the outside perimeter.
  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager/Supervisor in identifying ways to increase efficiency and productivity within the facility.
  • Other duties assigned by Housekeeping Manager and/or Supervisor.

Qualifications
  • Having experience in housekeeping is preferred but not required.
  • Must be customer service-focused and willing to interact with the public during events.
  • Ability to handle machines and equipment is preferred.
  • Can safely use cleaning chemicals.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
