Job description

Provides basic patient care under direction of nursing staff by performing duties such as changing linens, maintaining stocks of supplies, cleaning patient rooms, and transporting equipment. Performs variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of the hospital. Assists in housekeeping department as need to lift, move and relocate furniture, furnishings, equipment, etc.

Clean patient rooms, ancillary areas, and other areas as assigned.
Collects Trash and cleans trash receptacles.
Perform discharge/transfer room cleaning.
Supplies are replaced in the dispensers daily.
Project work and detail cleaning is handled as required.

High School degree or equivalent preferred.aaaa On the job training.

Ability to read and comprehend oral and written instructions.
Ability to perform multiple tasks.
