Location Requirement 

This role is based in Macon, Georgia and requires regular in-person presence with dealership teams, clients, and community partners across Macon and Middle Georgia. Candidates must currently live in, or be willing to relocate to, Macon or the surrounding Middle Georgia area prior to start date. This is not a fully remote position. 

Role Description 

The Account Executive will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, supporting sales growth, and helping deliver a seamless customer experience across assigned accounts. 

This role requires someone who is comfortable working directly with clients, dealership leadership, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, relationship-driven, and able to represent Butler Automotive Group professionally in the local market. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, dealership teams, vendors, and community partners  
  • Identify new business opportunities and support revenue growth initiatives  
  • Meet with clients and internal stakeholders to understand needs, challenges, and opportunities  
  • Develop tailored solutions that align with business goals  
  • Track account activity, follow-ups, and opportunities using CRM tools or sales software  
  • Collaborate with internal marketing, sales, and operations teams to support execution  
  • Monitor account performance and provide updates to leadership as needed  
  • Represent Butler Automotive Group professionally in the Macon and Middle Georgia market  
  • Support local market initiatives, dealership events, partnerships, and client-facing opportunities  

Qualifications 

  • Must live in Macon or Middle Georgia, or be willing to relocate prior to start date  
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills  
  • Sales, account management, or customer relationship experience preferred  
  • Ability to identify client needs and recommend tailored solutions  
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team  
  • Strong organization, follow-up, and time-management skills  
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities  
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, sales platforms, or related software preferred  
  • Prior automotive, dealership, media, marketing, or B2B sales experience is a plus  
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred  
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
