Job description

About the Job
Customer Growth Specialist
Location: Salt Lake City Metro, UT
Salary: $72,000-$83,000 base
Total Earning Potential: Up to approximately $100,000-$120,000
Schedule: Full-Time
Our client is seeking a driven outside B2B sales professional to help develop new business opportunities throughout the territory. This is a hands-on prospecting role for someone who enjoys getting into the field, approaching new businesses, building relationships, and creating opportunities from the ground up.
You will identify and engage prospective customers, qualify their needs, and connect strong opportunities with the appropriate sales representative for the next stage of the sales process.
What You'll Do:
  • Prospect for new business through in-person field outreach and cold calling.
  • Build relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
  • Identify and qualify potential sales opportunities.
  • Reconnect with existing customers to uncover additional opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate prospect and activity information in the CRM.
  • Partner with the sales team to ensure qualified leads receive a smooth handoff.
  • Consistently work toward prospecting and lead-generation goals.
Main Qualifications:
  • Must currently live in the Salt Lake City metro area.
  • 2-5 years of B2B sales experience preferred.
  • Proven experience with outside/field prospecting and cold calling.
  • Comfortable working in a high-activity, hunter-style sales environment.
  • Demonstrated success working toward or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence approaching decision-makers.
  • Resilient, competitive, self-motivated, and receptive to coaching.
  • Experience selling a physical/tangible product is highly preferred.
  • CRM experience, such as Salesforce or a comparable platform, is a plus.
  • Stable employment history with a desire to grow within a sales organization.

This opportunity is best suited for someone who enjoys creating new business rather than waiting for inbound leads and wants a path to advance into higher-level sales roles.
No sponsorship or relocation assistance is available.
