SUMMARY

ESS Rework Technician do commission work on the ESS according to the processes. Technicians are assigned to a location within the field that modifies and repairs mechanical and electrical processes of the ESS, do the commission work and follows documentation pertaining to their assigned station in their department.

JOB DESCRIPTION 

  • Receive batteries, cube unload, and document them by serial numbers
  • Test cubes, batteries, and components using BYD software and hardware
  • Disassemble cubes, make repairs and modifications based on engineering or manager's direction
  • Document all issues and repairs as well as changes made
  • Clean and organize inside and outside work areas that include warehouse
  • Work with team members to create a safe, efficient work environment while maintaining high quality work product and repairs
  • Help document and repair cubes at port site
  • Supporting warehouse by assisting with organizing and inventory
