CLV Group is a leading Canadian real estate firm specializing in the acquisition, development, and management of high-quality multi-family rental communities. We deliver strong, consistent returns through innovative management, a customer-first approach, and over 50 years of operational excellence.

We are currently seeking a LiveIn Property Cleaner to join the team at Avalon Park, a vibrant, familyoriented residential community in Ottawa's St.Laurent neighbourhood, just east of downtown. This handson role is wellsuited for a dependable individual who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a community of more than 800 residents. As a livein team member, you'll support daytoday cleaning operations and help ensure shared spaces remain clean, comfortable, and welcoming for residents.

Living at Avalon Park means enjoying the comfort and convenience of a wellconnected Ottawa community. Livein team members benefit from updated interiors, newly renovated balconies, and airconditioned suites, along with access to onsite amenities such as a fitness centre, theatre room, and seasonal swimming pool. The neighbourhood offers a wide variety of restaurants and everyday essentials within walking distance, including grocery stores like Metro and Your Independent Grocer, with St.Laurent Shopping Centre just minutes away. Easy access to OC Transpo bus routes and the St.Laurent OTrain Line1 station makes getting around the city simple and convenient.

Responsibilities

In addition to the responsibilities typically expected of a cleaning professional, responsibilities will include;

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms, laundry rooms, and common areas to ensure high hygiene standards.
  • Empty garbage and ensure that waste is disposed of safely and properly.
  • Perform occasional deep cleaning including scrubbing baseboards, cleaning appliances, and refinishing floors.
  • Respond to any cleaning work orders submitted by the property management team.
  • Occasionally engage in snow removal during winter months.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the property operations team.
  • Follow all safety protocols and use all assigned personal protective equipment appropriately.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial or residential cleaning, janitorial services, or housekeeping is considered a strong asset, but is not required.
  • Comfortable working both independently and part of a team.
  • Ability to perform a variety of repetitive physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Basic English verbal communication skills.
  • Friendly, respectable, and community-minded with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Successful completion of a criminal record check.
  • Ability to provide professional references and have a proven record of reliable work attendance.

Additional Details

  • All work will be completed at Avalon Park; located at 2470 Southvale Crescent, Ottawa.
  • This role requires participation in an on-call rotation schedule.

Final compensation for this role will be determined based on the successful candidates' skills, experience, and other job-related requirements. We recognize that individuals bring different skill sets, strengths, and career experiences, and we encourage candidates at all stages of their career to apply.

Along with an hourly wage, employees can participate in our comprehensive benefits program, which includes health, dental, and prescription drug coverage for both employees and their dependents. You'll also enjoy two weeks of paid vacation each year - starting on day one!
