Job description

Location: Raleigh, NC
Compensation: $25–$30 per hour
Commitment Level: Full-time, live-in, long-term
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately (6–8 hours per day, with flexibility on start and end times). Optional additional weekend hours available for candidates interested in them.
Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview
A warm, engaged family is seeking an experienced full-time live-in nanny to care for their 10-month-old. Private accommodations are provided. This is a long-term position for a nanny who takes initiative, anticipates the needs of an infant and toddler-in-progress, and brings structure and creativity to the day. The family values a self-directed caregiver who can build routines independently and grow with the child over the coming years.

Responsibilities

  • Full attentive care for a 10-month-old, including feeding, naps, diapering, and daily routines

  • Child-related tidying: nursery organization, toys, laundry, bottles, and play spaces
  • Tracking supplies and communicating needs proactively
  • Open, consistent communication with the family about the child's day and milestones

Requirements

  • Prior professional experience caring for infants
  • Comfortable with a live-in arrangement and maintaining clear on/off duty boundaries
  • Self-starter who takes initiative without needing direction
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to a long-term placement
  • Comfortable working alongside household members present in the home
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references
