Job description

Tahoe Donner Association is looking for fun and responsible Golf Outside Services Associates to join our Golf Course Operations! The Golf Outside Services Associate is responsible for warmly welcoming members, guests and the general public with a friendly and positive attitude, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. This position is responsible for always keeping an adequate supply of well-maintained golf carts in the designated staging area. This position assists golfers with loading and unloading their bags from their cars/carts, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of all outside service areas. The Golf Outside Services Associate may assist with driving range duties as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, business partners and employees. Ensures all staff meet or exceed the highest level of guest service in the performance of their duties.
  2. Communicate any problems with the golf cart maintenance department and immediate supervisor ensuring that the golf carts are in proper working order.
  3. Transport golf cars between the designated parking area and golf cart maintenance.
  4. Clean all golf carts prior/during/after customer use.

We are looking for the following qualifications:

  • Demonstrates excellent communication and "People" skills; Must love dealing with people.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the game of golf, and Tahoe Donner Golf Course policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to work in an outdoor environment with exposure to various weather conditions.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, based on course and operational needs.
  • Enjoys fast-paced, team oriented environment, especially during peak golf hours.
  • Must be a high energy, self-starter, with keen interest, ability and general knowledge golf operations.
  • Requires possession of valid Class C Driver License with a driving record meeting the minimum standards required by the Association insurance carrier.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid Certifications are recommended.

These skills and abilities are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma or equivalent and up to six months' relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of formal training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform all of the duties of the position.
