COMPANY OVERVIEW

The Lake Forest, CA facility specializes in zinc and aluminum die casting, advanced automation, and in-house tooling to deliver millions of high-quality parts annually. The General Electrical Technician will maintain, repair and troubleshoot all automated equipment in the plant.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. 

  • Read electrical/hydraulic blueprints.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE Fanuc PLCs & MMI systems.
  • Intermediate Level understanding of AC and DC Circuits.
  • Can calculate the electrical power requirements of a New Asset and install according to NEC Standards.
  • Relocate existing Asset and install New Asset electrical equipment as required.
  • Hydraulic/Pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
  • Have knowledge of National Electrical Codes
  • Assist in Mechanical repairs within a team environment 
  • Execute and implement electrical preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 5 or more years of Industrial Electrician experience in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Power Distribution Control Circuits.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Circuits and perform PMs on Power distribution devices.
  • Die casting or plastics industry experience preferred, but not necessary.
