We're seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Maintenance Supervisor to lead our global maintenance teams. This role oversees the technical health of our operational facilities across domestic and international sites. The maintenance team is responsible for preventative and unplanned maintenance, machine upgrades, and other tasks related to process machinery, including mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

The ideal candidate is a "player-coach" who possesses the advanced technical aptitude to step in and perform any technician-level task while managing a diverse, international team.

You'll report to the Process Automation Manager and work from our Santa Ana, CA office.

Onsite Requirement:

This role requires you to be onsite in the office 5 days per week.

Approximately 25% travel is required for this position. You must have a valid driver's license (required) and valid passport (required).

What You'll Do:

  • Global Team Leadership: Manage and mentor Maintenance Technicians across time zones and locations, including Santa Ana, Jersey City, Florida, Texas, Germany, and Japan

  • Technical Leadership: Serve as the primary technical escalation point; you must be able to personally perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine upgrades as needed to support your team

  • Root Cause Focus: Strong understanding of problem solving methodologies and identification of root cause. Familiar with CAPAs and Lean techniques

  • Strategic Maintenance Planning: Collaborate with Engineering to develop, implement, and track global PM schedules and maintenance plans

  • Process Standardization: Work with cross-functional groups to determine and enforce standard maintenance procedures across all global sites

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and spearhead opportunities for equipment and process enhancements to increase production quality, reliability and efficiency

  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all global maintenance activities adhere to strict "safety first" protocols and local regulatory requirements

Who You Are:

  • Education: Associates or vocational degree

  • Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role

  • Proven Leadership: Experience managing maintenance teams is required, preferably in a global or multi-site industrial environment

  • Master Technician Skills: Advanced, hands-on mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical aptitude; you are comfortable using power tools, hand tools and diagnostic tools

  • Process Automation: Familiarity with industrial automation and factory equipment, including controls systems, robotics, and machine HMIs

  • Global Communicator: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills; ability to coordinate effectively with international teams

  • Operational Agility: Ability to work in a deadline-sensitive environment and adapt to different operational climates and regional requirements

  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and online communication tools, such as Slack and Zoom

  • Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally to oversee site operations and support local technicians

Physical Requirements:

  • Bending and Twisting: Bending neck/waist, twisting neck/waist, and squatting

  • Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, sitting and looking at a monitor potentially for long periods of time

  • Exposure to machine noise: May include forklifts, ultrasonic welders, or other equipment

  • Hand Use: Power gripping when using low-precision, high-impact hand tools that require significant force, such as hammer drills and torque wrenches

  • Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions

  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds

  • Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time

  • Temperature and Humidity: Occasional exposure to warehouse environments without heating or cooling with fluctuations in temperatures and humidity

  • Walking: Ability to walk for long periods

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $115,000-$130,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
