Job Description:

The GE Proficy Specialist plays a critical role in driving the adoption, implementation, and optimization of Proficy Plant Applications across manufacturing sites. This role focuses on supporting web client migration, improving delivery timelines, and enabling operational excellence through effective collaboration and technical expertise.

Your Role:

 

  • Collaborate with multiple manufacturing sites to support deployment and adoption of Proficy Plant Applications Web Client.
  • Plan and schedule engagement activities with site stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Guide sites through onboarding, configuration, and usage of Plant Applications features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional and technical issues related to the Proficy ecosystem.
  • Continuously improve migration processes for Proficy Web Client to reduce delivery timelines and enhance efficiency.
  • Provide functional expertise across Plant Applications modules to ensure optimal system utilization.
  • Execute and support basic database queries for data validation, issue troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and delivered.

Your Skills and Experience:

 

    • Strong experience with GE Proficy Plant Applications
    • Proficiency in .NET technologies
    • Solid working knowledge of SQL / MS SQL ServerAbility to run and interpret basic queries using MS SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
    • Web Client Functional Areas like My Machines, Downtime, Autolog, Alarms, etc

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $73,000 - $140,000/year.
