Tool & Die Maker - Night Shift Troubleshooting (3rd Shift, LaFayette, GA)
$1,500 Retention Bonus!
Receive $750 after 90 days and $750 after 180 days for staying and growing with our team.
Shift: 3rd (10:45pm-7:15am)
Our 3rd shift Tool & Die Makers keep the plant running smoothly overnight. If you like independence, solving complex tooling issues, and staying hands on with precision machining, this is your shift.

How You'll Create Possibilities
What You'll Do
  • Lead die troubleshooting and repair during overnight production
  • Maintain, inspect, and rebuild stamping dies and tooling
  • Perform surface grinding, manual machining, CNC work, and EDM operations
  • Fit, adjust, and align die components to tight tolerances
  • Conduct test runs to validate die performance
  • Document all PMs and repair activities
  • Partner with production to keep presses running efficiently

What You'll Bring to Our Team
What You Bring
  • Minimum 2 years Tool & Die experience
  • Experience with stamping dies (progressive/transfer preferred)
  • Strong blueprint reading & die design interpretation
  • Manual machining + CNC proficiency
  • Ability to make independent tooling decisions

Bonus:
  • SolidWorks/CAD, CNC programming, Tool & Die apprenticeship

Also looking for the following capabilities / qualifications in addition to tooling
  • Set up and operate Wire EDM machines to cut precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Program or edit programs using machine controls or CAM software as needed
  • 2+ years of Wire EDM machining experience in a manufacturing or tool & die environment
  • Experience with precision machining and tight tolerances
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T
  • Familiarity with CAM programming or EDM machine controls is a plus
