Job description

Clean Harbors located in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking to add two Truck-to-Truck Technicians to add to their team. The Truck-to-Truck Technician performs hands-on operations of offloading box trucks

Shift: 2nd Shift (2:30pm-11:00pm) Mon-Fri. OT and weekends as needed. Training will typically be completed on a day shift for several weeks prior to moving to the scheduled shift.

Pay: $19/HR. Once on 2nd shift- shift differential of $1.75 per hour worked will be added to bring pay to $20.75/Hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all Health and Safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
  • Handle drum movements, unloading/loading tank farm trucks, and other basic facility operations in compliance with DOT requirements;
  • Operate a forklift (as needed) and complete daily safety inspections;
  • Ability to operate Class B trucks in future;
  • Submit documentation for waste tracking and movement;
  • Maintain area compliance with permit standards;
  • Meet or exceed daily production goals;
  • Keep work areas clean and organized;
  • All other duties as required by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required;
  • Must be 18 years or older;
  • 1+Years of related experience;
  • Forklift experience preferred;
  • Driving oversized box trucks preferred;
  • Ability to use computer efficiently;
  • Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
