Title: Programs and Outreach Coordinator
Location: Montgomery County, In-Person/ Hybrid 
Type: Part-Time
Regular Hybrid Schedule: 20 hours per-week with in-person programs, meetings, and outreach events. 
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
Reports to: Programs & Marketing Manager
About Live In Your Truth & The Montgomery County Pride Family: MoCo Pride Center, Inc. 
Live In Your Truth, an organization within our Pride Family, is hiring a Programs & Outreach Coordinator. Live In Your Truth creates affirming safe spaces, linkage to care events, local TV/media representational programs, and employment/contract opportunities for LGBTQIA+, and intersectional BIPOC underserved communities throughout Montgomery County, MD, and the DMV, where everyone is welcome! The Montgomery County Pride Family is the consortium of LGBTQIA+ Service, Advocacy, and Arts & Culture organizations and programs that serve Montgomery County, which consists of Live In Your Truth, Trans Maryland, MoCo Pride Prom, The Coalition for Inclusive Schools and Communities, Drag Story Hour DMV, Maryland Trans Unity, and Montgomery County Pride In The Plaza. 
Our linkage to care programs partner with government entities, NGOs, and community-oriented businesses to combat Opioid overdoses, fight hate and bias within our schools and communities, provide culturally competent training, provide HIV and STI education and prevention resources, name and gender marker change services, Trans and Nonbinary support groups, expungement clinics, resources for returning citizens, food and housing insecurity resources, Inclusive MultiLingual Family literacy Programs, affirming diverse faith and spiritual resources, affirming safe Spaces, representational local TV and media programs, job and contract opportunities, and more.
Job Overview:
The Programs & Outreach Coordinator is a dynamic community facing position focused on delivering successful internal and outreach programs, as well as dynamic social media marketing. The ideal candidate will be culturally competent, friendly, and dedicated to enhancing community engagement and support.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage programs and outreach events
Provide support for post-program reconciliations 
Under the direction of the Programs & Marketing Manager, coordinate marketing and social media management
Equipment management 
Coordinate organizational meetings
Facilitate virtual meetings 
Recruit and manage volunteers
Manage front-facing operations and patron relations.
Provide educational resources for wellness programs and at outreach events.
Qualifications:
Experience in program/event coordination and management.
Skilled in social media 
Experience in outreach event coordination.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
