Job Description

Location: North River Campus
Reports To: Regional Campus Pastor

Position Summary

The Spanish Campus Pastor will lead the launch and ongoing development of a Spanish-speaking campus within an existing Bayside Community Church Campus location. This role is responsible for building a thriving, Christ-centered ministry that provides intentional discipleship, authentic community, and dynamic worship experiences for the Spanish-speaking population.

Primary Responsibilities1. Campus Launch amp; Growth
  • Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of launching a Spanish-speaking campus within an existing Bayside location
  • Build and execute a launch plan including outreach, interest gatherings, and preview services
  • Establish rhythms for weekly staff direction amp; meetings, worship services, groups, and ministry engagement
  • Create a welcoming and culturally relevant environment for Spanish-speaking individuals and families
2. Discipleship amp; Spiritual Formation
  • Develop and implement a clear discipleship pathway for Spanish-speaking attendees
  • Equip individuals to grow in their relationship with Christ and take next steps (salvation, baptism, serving, leadership)
  • Lead and oversee small groups, classes, and leadership development environments
  • Ensure alignment with Bayside’s theology, values, and discipleship model
3. Leadership Development
  • Identify, recruit, and develop Spanish-speaking leaders and volunteers
  • Build sustainable ministry teams across key areas (hospitality, kids, worship, production, groups)
  • Create leadership pipelines that multiply leaders within the Spanish-speaking community
  • Coach and care for team members to ensure healthy ministry culture
4. Worship amp; Weekend Experience
  • Oversee the planning and execution of Spanish-language worship services
  • Collaborate with central teams to contextualize Bayside’s teaching and worship for a Spanish-speaking audience
  • Ensure services are engaging, excellent, and aligned with Bayside’s overall experience
  • Develop Spanish-speaking worship and production teams
5. Community Engagement amp; Outreach
  • Build relationships within the local Spanish-speaking community
  • Identify outreach opportunities to serve and connect with families in the region
  • Partner with local organizations, schools, and ministries to expand impact
  • Create pathways for new people to connect into the church
QualificationsSpiritual amp; Leadership
  • Strong, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Weekend platform communicator, with monthly message teaching
  • Called to pastoral ministry with a heart for the Spanish-speaking community
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and multiply staff, volunteers amp; leaders
  • Alignment with Bayside Community Church’s vision, values, and culture
Experience
  • Experience in church leadership, campus leadership, or church planting
  • Experience in leading multicultural or Spanish-speaking ministries strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build teams, grow a volunteer base, and launch initiatives
Skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong communicator with the ability to connect cross-culturally
  • Strategic thinker with execution ability
  • High relational intelligence and pastoral care capacity
